It is compatible with a broad range of screens, thanks to its universal mounting head that can connect to a variety of mounting hole patterns. Our advanced cable management system ensures a clean and professional installation, completely free from wire clutter.
To install the Telehook 3270 UFM, first choose the location for your mount, ensuring the wall is structurally sound. Then use a spirit level to position the Wall plate straight and mark the hole positions on the wall. The self adhesive drilling template supplied has a handy dust collection pocket to catch any mess from the drilling process.
To attach the arm to the wall, first un-clip the Wall Plate Cover and attach the wall plate using the instructions in the installation manual for your type of wall – masonry or timber stud. Then slide the Wall Plate Cover back along the Arm, and push flat against the wall.
Next, attach the mounting brackets to your display. This mount is compatible with a large range of monitors, thanks to the universal mounting head. This gives you the ability to attach displays with a number of different mounting hole patterns, as wide as 805mm or 32 inches, and up to 600mm, or 25 inches, in height.
Secure the Mounting Bracket to the Display through the top hole first, then the bottom slot. If the Mounting Holes are recessed into the back of the Display, or the Display has a curved rear panel, use the appropriate Spacer Bushes supplied to pack the Mounting Holes.
This versatile mount allows you to position your display in either landscape or portrait. This gives you greater flexibility to use specialized applications that require different screen orientation.
The Mounting Rail is factory set to hold the display in a landscape, or horizontal, position. If that’s the position you require for your display, simply attach the rail to the mounting bracket.
If you wish to mount the display in a portrait or vertical position, remove the Cover Plate and two button head screws using the Allen key supplied. Loosen, but do not remove the Centre Pin, and rotate the Hook Plate by 90°. Then re-tighten the Centre Pin. Finally, remove the lower Cable Clip and reinstall the two Button Head Screws and the Cover Plate.
Next, attach the mounting rail to the mounting bracket. To do this, remove the locking plate from each mounting bracket, slide the mounting rail under both mounting brackets and centralize it on the display. When this is done, reinstall the locking plates to clamp the mounting rail in position.
You are ready now to attach the display. Hook the plate onto the mounting plate and adjust if necessary. The TH-3270 can be adjusted horizontally by 5 degrees on each side, which helps to ensure your display is completely straight. You may want to use a spirit level to check this and make any adjustments necessary.
Then fix the Display in position using the Mount Head Screw. Three pivot points give this Telehook mount unparalleled freedom of movement and allow you to extend the arm to impressive 635mm or 25 inches from the wall. This is combined with Smooth Glide technology, which utilizes a ball bearing mechanism, to enable the screen to be adjusted with minimal effort.
Display viewing angle can be easily set, even with considerable weight on the arm. This procedure is made simple thanks to the spring-supported tilting mechanism, which will ensure that when you release the lever the screen stays in the position and doesn’t drop down. Use the horizontal display adjustment to fine tune the position of your display. All of these innovative features allow the screen to move smoothly and effortlessly into the perfect position for optimum viewing comfort.
Finally, the Telehook 3270 UFM features advanced internal cable management. This keeps your wires and cables concealed for a professional, safe and clean finish. Remove the covers located on the inside and outside of the arms. Feed your cables through the cable channels and reattach the cable covers to hold in place. Leaving slack in the cables is a good idea to allow full movement at the joints.
