Installing a multi screen mount - Visidec VFS

The Visidec Freestanding range is one of the simplest and most elegant ways to mount more than one screen.  It’s created to meet the demanding requirements for a wide variety of multi-screen applications, including corporate, financial, surveillance and gaming. The sleek design and unique features make this a winning range in terms of style, functionality, user productivity and value for money.

What’s remarkable about Visidec Freestanding mounts is the Quick Shift lever, which allows you to change the position of your screens in seconds. In addition the Quick release mechanism enables you to remove and attach the displays whenever required, without the need for any tools.

Installation is quick and simple, with advanced cable management that conceals all cables for a clean and professional finish.  This installation video covers a family of three Visidec Freestanding mounts:  the double horizontal, the double vertical and the quad which supports four displays. The installation is identical for all three with a slight difference for the vertical option.

To install a double horizontal Freestanding mount, first attach the vertical pole to the base and tighten firmly.

Slide the horizontal bar onto the pole to the desired height and tighten it firmly.

If you have a Freestanding Quad mount, which supports four screens, the procedure is the same.

For the Double Vertical freestanding mount, which supports two screens, one on top of the other, the Donut clamps are slid directly onto the vertical pole.

Now attach each monitor to a Quick Shift Donut mounting plate.

The Donut has a universal mounting head suitable for displays with mounting hole patterns of either 75 by 75mm, that’s 3 by 3 inches, or the larger 100 by 100mm, that’s  4 by 4 inches.  This gives increased compatibility with a wider range of monitors.

The innovative Quick Shift Donut allows you to remove and attach the display at anytime.  It features a Quick Release mechanism which makes this procedure fast and simple. The display can be also secured by inserting a security screw onto the Quick release head.

It’s important to adjust the Ball Joint Mechanism to suit the weight of your display.  This is done using the special tool supplied.

Now that your display has been installed, you can now customize your desk space for optimum viewing comfort.  The Visidec Freestanding mounts, combined with the Quick Shift Donut, give you superior control over screen positioning to create the best working position for you. The Ball Joint mechanism allows you to easily adjust the viewing angle of each display up to 40 degrees in any direction.  This removes screen glare and enhances the quality of the display.

To change the position of each screen, release the quick shift lever and simply slide the donut. This brilliantly engineered adjustment mechanism removes the need for any tools and can be quickly done by one person.

For a professional finish to your installation, advanced cable management removes all wire clutter.  Use either a moveable pole mounted cable guide, which allows freedom for the cables to move with any adjustment to height.  Or you can insert the locking balls into the cable channel and conceal the cables inside the pole.
