Installing a full motion flat screen wall mount (Telehook TH-2050-VFM)

The Telehook 2050 VFM is a full motion mount with incredible versatility. It can hold monitors weighing up to 35kgs, or 77 pounds, with the ability to move and adjust your screen with effortless precision. This is thanks to our innovative Smooth Glide technology, which utilizes the ball bearing mechanism to support the full weight of the monitor as you set your ideal screen position. This makes adjusting your display a one person job.

Installation
of this brilliantly engineered mount is also extremely simple. It comes pre-assembled, saving you valuable time. All masonry and timber stud wall mounting hardware is included and the clear and detailed instructions help you to complete the installation with very little effort or skill required.

The first stage of installation is to attach the wall plate. Use a spirit level to ensure the Wall plate is straight, then mark the hole positions on the wall. Included in the kit is a self adhesive drilling template, which comes with a handy dust collection pocket to catch any mess from the drilling process.

Next, un-clip the Wall Plate Cover and attach the wall plate following the instructions in the installation manual for your type of wall – masonry or timber stud. Then slide the Wall Plate Cover back along the Arm, and push flat against the wall.

Now attach the VESA plate to your display. This mount is extremely versatile. It’s compatible with a vast range of mounting hole configurations, ranging from 100 by 100mm, or 4 by 4 inches, up to 400 by 400mm, that’s 16 by 16 inches.

It’s very easy to attach the VESA plate to any of the mounting hole patterns. Simply choose the correct length screw as guided in the installation manual and tighten firmly. If your monitor has a curved or recessed rear panel, use the Spacer Bushes to pack the holes and ensure a tight fit to the VESA plate.

To attach the display, you’ll need the help of an assistant. Slide the VESA plate onto the quick-release hook and tighten the security screw fully to lock.

The Telehook 2050 VFM is very easy to adjust. Three pivot points give you infinite adjustment for any viewing angle. When fully extended the arm reaches to 540mm or 21¼“ from the wall. One person working alone is able to set the best screen angle for optimum visual comfort thanks to the Smooth Glide technology ball bearing mechanism.

To tilt the screen, release the Clamp Lever. Tilt the display forward or backward as desired. Tighten the clamp lever to lock the screen in position. Use the horizontal display adjustment to fine tune the position of your display.

Finally, for a clean and professional finish our cable management system conceals unsightly cables and provides a safe environment. Remove the covers located on the inside and outside of the arms, feed your cables through the cable channels and reattach the cable covers to hold in place. Leaving slack in the cables is a good idea to allow full movement at the joints.
