With 1600 stores across the world, Victoria’s Secret is one of the world’s biggest lingerie retailers, with lines catering to women of all ages. Melbourne is set to be its next big conquest, with the opening of its first full-line store in Australia at Melbourne’s Chadstone – The Fashion Capital.
At 13500 square feet, the flagship store features every key lingerie product line, along with body care and perfume products. Set among a huge shopping mall full of big brands, Victoria’s Secret needed a way to set itself apart and draw customers in.
Vibrant, dynamic video walls were the perfect way to catch the customer’s eye and build anticipation for what awaited inside. Edgetek Integration, on behalf of Victoria’s Secret, engaged Atdec to provide modular mounts to support two epic video walls.

Challenge
- To set the company apart within the context of a shopping mall, the public-facing displays needed to incorporate multiple screens to present a larger-than-life image.
- Displays had to be installed in a recessed wall to combine seamlessly with the surrounding pink and black frame.
- For maximum impact, the screens needed to be aligned perfectly, with no gaps whatsoever.
- Installation had to be completed within a short time frame to free up room for other aspects of store preparation taking place.
- A simple solution was required to make sure any future servicing or maintenance resulted in minimal downtime or interruption for the store.
- Within the store, a tall and narrow display was needed specifically for the PINK section of the store, aimed at younger women.
Solution
- Twenty screens were combined in landscape orientation in a 5 x 4 configuration, giving total display dimensions of 240" x 108" – impossible to ignore.
- Atdec’s ADMS-VWS video wall mount was the perfect system for the recessed wall installation, featuring an ultra-low profile and pop-out spring mechanism.
- Aligning so many screens can be challenging, but Atdec’s ADMS-VWS video wall rail mounts permit micro adjustments even after installation, for perfectly seamless alignment.
- The ADMS-VWS mount permits easy access behind the screens for quick installation, servicing, and maintenance, and allows for replacement of single screens if necessary.
- Installation was very quick since fine adjustments to screen positioning didn’t need to be made until after installation.
- It was possible to use the same ADMS-VWS system on a smaller scale to align two screens in portrait mode to create a tall, narrow display.
